Sprinkler motor
This sprinkler motor is on its last legs. The temperature on the housing registered at 171 degrees. This is way too high and indicates that the motor is overheating, either from age, bad impellers, or some other cause. It may function for a while, or it could quit tomorrow. This is something that, as a home inspector, I always check. The cost to replace this motor is about $450.00.
